Vajrasattva Puja
Vajrasattva, the Diamond Being is the main Bodhisattva employed for purification by practioners of all Vajrayana traditions. This prayer is the main method with powerful purification to eliminate heavy Karma and obscuration that one has gathered through beginningless existence, in particular, the violation of scared commitment (samaya) that obstruct liberation.
It is said that through the performance of the devotional practice of Vajratsattva, one is able to gather immeasurable merits and the fulfillment of all auspicious wishes!
Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara) Puja
Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara) is known to manifest in many forms in order to help sentient beings. It is said that Chenrezig has three great qualities: Great Compassion, Wisdom and Skillful means to benefit all sentient beings. The great compassion is the attitude that all sentient beings can be freed from every form of suffering, pain and dissatisfaction. Such great compassion and altruistic attitude which strive toward complete enlightenment for the benefit of all sentient beings is symbolize by Four Armed Chenrezig.
Twenty-One Dzambala
Dzambala’s prayer is conceived by Buddha for the practice of generosity. Dzambala is the highest of 8 levels Bodhisattvas who provides the opportunity for devotees to sow “Seed Money” so that they will have constant supply of fortune to facilitate their practice of generosity.
The practice of this puja includes milk offering to Dzambala, as the lengend says that when Dzambala Bodhisattva was hurt in the head, He vowed that whoever offer milk to Him to soothe the wound, his or her wish for good fortune will be granted.
Dzambala is not to be mistaken as worldly God. He possesses remarkable power to free sentient beings from the clutches of poverty and starvation and guides them towards ultimate Buddhahood.
Twenty-One Tara Puja
This prayer pays homage to Tara, to create causes to attain enlightenment as well as avert obstacles and ensure success in worldly spiritual affairs. Green Tara is known as a Swift Liberator, commonly believed to be born from the tears of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, Tara materialized and vowed to assist Him in the battle to reverse the tides of Samsara. Through the strength of Her female form, she attained full enlightenment and was able to emanate myriad forms in order to aid sentient beings with the lightning swiftness. One of her best known forms is the assembly of 21 emanations (21 Arya Tara).
Dakini Puja
Dakini is the female form of Energies in Tibetan Culture and beliefs. She appeared in many forms. As Vajrayogini, she is considered as the Mother of all Buddhas. As Prajna Paramita, she is considered as the Mother of Universe. As Yeshe Tsogyal, she is the Consort of Guru Rinpoche. She functioned as His consort in order to gather and codify His teachings, to be handed down to the future generations.
Dakini symbolizes primordial wisdom. She also symbolizes the great bliss of sphere emptiness and happiness for all sentient beings. It is said that if ones practices the Sadhana correctly and wholeheartedly, up-holds the positive thinking and faith, the practice of Dakini alone is more than enough for one to achieve the ultimate blessings.The practice of Dakini is traditionally conducted on every 25th of Tibetan Calendar.
Vajrakilaya Puja
The practice of Vajrakilaya is famous in the Tibetan Buddhists world as the most powerful for removing obstacles, destroying the forces, hostile to compassion and purifying the spiritual pollution so prevalent in this age.
The wrathful Heruka Vajrakilaya is the Yidam deity who embodies the enlightened activities of all Buddha, manifesting in an intensely Wrathful yet compassionate form in order to subjugate the delusion and negativity that can arise as obstacle to the practice of Dharma.
Medicine Buddha Puja
This prayer pays homage to Medicine Buddha whom is also known as the Healing Master of Lapis Lazuli Radiance, with a distinctive colour of Deep Blue body. Medicine Buddha is also known as Bhaisaya Guru, the manifestation of the healing energy of all enlightened beings. Prayers is offered to request for the blessing of Medicine Buddha to heal diseases as well as to overcome obstacles, to achieve temporary and ultimate goals and happiness for all sentient beings
Manjushri Puja
Manjushri Bodhisattva embodies wisdom aspect of an enlightened mind. This is the ability to see into the true nature of reality of the persons and the phenomena. He has the ability to discriminate correct views of reality as it is. In order to benefit sentient beings, he too, manifests in many different forms. One of them is a single faced Manjushri which symbolizing his wisdom as non-dual. He holds the flaming sword in his right hand to symbolize to cut off the root of delusion which is the cause of sufferings, ignorance and of self grasping. He holds the scriptural text entitled “Perfection of Wisdom” which cuts off all delusions. He is invoked especially for increasing the intelligence by reciting his mantra, "Om Ah Ra Pa Ca Na Dhih” many times.
Guru Rinpoche (Guru Padmasambhava) Puja
Guru Rinpoche means the Precious Master in Tibetan. He is also known as Guru Padmasambhava, a manifestation of Amitabha Buddha. He was born in a Lotus Flower, in Oddiyana Lake amid wondrous signs. Due to His great realization and spiritual powers, He created the conditions for the propagation of Vajrayana teachings in this world.
He is particularly powerful when negative emotions are stronger and confusions are greater. It is said that the more confusions and difficulties, the more powerful Guru Rinpoche is. Even great masters when face with crisis, they too call upon Him for help.
It is particularly important and auspicious to join the puja offered to Him on the tenth day of the month (Tibetan Calendar) as He once said, “I will come and remove sufferings of the people in the world on the tenth day of every moon.”
