Dzambala Treasure Vase Consecration & Blessing Ceremony
3rd to 7th September 2006

We are honor to invite Venerable Khenpo Wangchuk Sonam Rinpoche to personally prepare the treasure vase from 3rd to 6th September 06. The person consecrating these treasure vases can be either a celibate monk or mantra adept provided that they have attained stability and power of the two stages of generation and completion. Thus, our treasure vase will be skillfully prepared under the guidance of our knowledgeable and experienced Venerable Khenpo Wangchuck Sonam Rinpoche.

Khenpo is one of the main leading disciples of H.H. Penor Rinpoche and is presently a senior professor in Ngagyur Nyingma Institute. His proficient in vase consecrations has so far made him the only person capable enough to consecrate all the holy vases in Namdroling Monastery, India. Our resident teacher, Venerable Khenpo Jurme Kunzang Rinpoche, will also be assisting in the process of consecration too.

As all these treasure vases contains Dharma substances that are exceptionally rare to obtain, Venerable Khenpo Wangchuck Sonam Rinpoche and Venerable Khenpo Jurme Kunzang Rinpoche will specially conduct a blessing ceremony for these treasure vases on the 7th September 06, Thursday (Tibetan 15th). The programs are as follows

10am - 12pm   Dzambala Treasure Vase Blessing Ceremony
2pm - 5pm   Mahakala Puja
8pm - 9.30pm   Chenrezig & Smoke Offering

Devotees who wish to contribute can register for the following

Elimination of Obstacles: S$10 (Individual), S$30 (Family) or S$50 (Company)

Merits Multiplying Day - 22 September 2006

The Eclipse Day which falls on Tibetan 30th is known as the merits multiplying day. On this day all positive and negative actions are multiplied by 100,000 times. This is also a day for one to practice precepts taking and accumulate lots of wholesome activities.

On this auspicious day, our centre has arranged two programs for devotees to join us in accumulating and dedicating of merits.

1) Lives Release at open sea (Meet 9.30am at Changi Ferry Terminal)

Saving the lives of animals on the verge of being killed is considered an 'intensified' virtuous activity, resulting in the accumulation of merits which surpasses many others. Sponsors as well as participants of this event will acquire great merits that will help to clear one’s obstacles and enhance one’s life span.

The cost of boat trip is S$15.00 per person. Please register early to avoid disappointment as there are only 30 seats available. Voluntary contributions are welcomed for the purchase of sea creatures to be released.

2) Sang Chot Monlam (8pm - 9.30pm)

Sang Chot Monlam is also known as King of Aspiration Prayers, where all prayers are condensed into it. Our resident teacher and lamas will specially recite the prayer for the benefits of all. Devotees are welcome to sit in to receive the blessing of this prayer and at the same time to recite Guru Rinpoche or Chenrezig's mantra.

Lamp Offering is available for this puja at S$10 (Individual), S$30 (Family) or S$50 (Company)

Riwo Sang ChÖt - 29th October 2006

Riwo Sang Chöt is a powerful puja that enables participants to accumulate plenty of merits and blessings. It facilitates the purification of our bad karma, sicknesses and obstacles, paying off the karmic debts of our previous lives, as well as increasing wealth and life span for our present as well as future lifetimes.

The puja will be conducted in our centre at 10am on 29 Oct. Interested participants can contribute S$10 (Individual), S$30 (Family) or S$50 (Company) for the purchase of smoke offering items such as biscuits, fruits, butter, incense, milk and etc. that are required for this event.

New Centre Development

Our new centre has started the interior renovation on 3 August 2006. On that day Khenpo Jurme Kunzang Rinpoche, together with two visiting Rinpoches and our centre’s Lamas, conducted a blessing ceremony at our new centre before the actual commencement of work. The expected completion date will be end of October 2006 .

As the expenses and costs of renovating our new centre are extremely high, we are shortage of funds. Our required Dharma materials and the costs of renovating our new centre will still need approximately another S$300,000. Therefore we are requesting people from all walks of life to donate generosity as the effort put in for this meritorious fund-raising event will provide a much bigger, better and a more conducive environment for spiritual practice. All donations received will entirely goes to our new centre building funds and renovations costs. Please refer to the attached sponsorship form.

Anyone who wishes to volunteer themselves in shifting the centre's belongings or could provide some form of transportations (e.g. lorry) please kindly contact Mr. Yeo at 91069778 or email to palyulsg@palyulsg.org. Shifting will either be on 1st or 2nd week of November 2006.
