Benefits of Sampa Lhun Drup Prayers

The Prayer for Swift Accomplishment of All Wishes is a treasure composed by Guru Rinpoche and discovered by Jigme Linpa.  It is said to be especially relevant to our modern age and is good for raising one's fortune, protecting against war, famine, and natural disasters, as well as overcoming obstacles and quickly attaining one's wishes.

The benefits of the reciting the prayer include completely exhausting the fully-matured results of negative acts such as disease, disasters, obstructions, war, and poverty. It will swiftly accomplish our wishes in all life-threatening situations and whenever unwanted suffering and illness appear.

Prayer flags often feature this prayer with Guru Rinpoche’s image in the center as well as repetitions of his powerful mantra:
OM AH HUNG VAJRA GURU PEMA SIDDHI HUNG.

Brief Explanation on Vajrasattva

Vajrasattva, the Diamond Being is the main Bodhisattva employed for purification by practioners of all Vajrayana traditions. This prayer is the main method with powerful purification to eliminate heavy Karma and obscuration that one has gathered through beginningless existence, in particular, the violation of scared commitment (samaya) that obstruct liberation.

It is said that through the performance of the devotional practice of Vajratsattva, one is able to gather immeasurable merits and the fulfillment of all auspicious wishes!

BIOGRAPHY OF KHENPO TASHI TSERING RINPOCHE

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Khenpo Tashi Tsering Rinpoche is unable to arrive in Singapore. Both teaching & empowerment by Khen Rinpoche from 28/09 to 30/09 has been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

From young Khenpo Tashi Tsering Rinpoche was under the guidance of a Nepalese Master named Tsewang Norbu. When he reached adulthood, he went to South India to attend the nine years Ngagyur Nyingma Institute in Namdroling Monastery where he excelled in his studies. After his graduation, H.H. Khen Rinpoche has completed the 3 years 3 months 3 days retreat for a total of 3 times. One of it was completed in Namdroling Monastery after he graduated from the Institute. During the retreat, he directly received personal teachings and practices from H.H. Penor Rinpoche which included Longchen Nyingthig, Jetsun Nyingpo, Namchö and etc.

By the instruction of H.H. Penor Rinpoche, Khen Rinpoche was given the responsibilities to set up a sister Palyul monastery in his hometown, within the Himalaya area in Nepal.

3) Teaching on Green Tara Practice  - CANCELLED
Date  :
30/09/07, Sunday
Time : 2.00pm - 5.00pm

Tara is a female Buddha most benevolent, who pacifies all the impediments to life which is the condition of all beings. Green Tara is known as the 'Swift Liberator' and Mother of the Buddhas of the past, present and future. She arose from the compassionate tears of Avalokiteshvara and is the embodiment of compassion and wisdom, left leg withdrawn to symbolize her renunciation of worldly passion and her right leg extended to show that she is always ready to arise and come to the aid of those who need her help. Tara's supreme benefit lies in guiding practitioners along the path of 'full awakening'. Along this path one may encounter obstacles and fears and Tara offers protection to us all.
