New Centre Fund Raising
Project
A Sincere Appeal
Palyul Nyingma
Buddhist Association is the brain child of HH Penor Rinpoche.
Rinpoche is the 11th throne holder of the Palyul
Lineage of Nyingma. He is one of the last surviving adept in
this era who has been trained traditionally in Tibet under many
renowned Tibetan teachers. Throughout the Buddhist community, he
is respected for his vast knowledge and accomplishment and for
the integrity and strength with which he upholds the Buddhist
teachings.
HH Penor
Rinpoche’s presence exhibits tremendously love and compassion
and with faith, seeing him is like looking at a real BUDDHA.
Therefore, it is our wish that Rinpoche and his contingent of
monks would continue to spend an extended period of time in
Singapore to expound the precious dharma. However, such a
possibility is usually constrained due to space limitation in
our current location.
After much
aspiration prayers coupled with faith and patience, our wish is
a step closer to reality. The Palyul Nyingma Buddhist
Association has recently acquired a new property at 721 Geylang
Road. The new premise is a 2 storey freehold landed property,
conveniently accessible and is within walking distance from Paya
Lebar MRT.
Aside from the
hope to have Rinpoche in Singapore for a longer period, our
intention to relocate is to move away from the heart of Geylang
to an environment which is more conducive for dharma practice.
In addition, it is our wish that the new location, being much
bigger in size, will be able to accommodate more devotees during
our regular dharma activities.
In view of our
noble venture, we are extending our sincere invitation to you to
assist us in our various fundraising avenues. This is also a
golden opportunity to acquire merit for oneself and a way to
extend compassion to all sentient beings by upholding and
spreading the dharma in a beneficial way.
Our target is to
raise S$1300,000. This
amount is to cover our building and renovation cost, including
dharma items which are necessary to transform the building into
a full fledge dharma centre. The breakdowns of cost are as
