Drolma
Yongdüe
Puja held on 18 & 19 June 2005
Drolma Yongdüe is a type
of Tara ritual specially performed to eradicate obstacles.
During this ritual, participants will place their cut
fingernails, hair or clothing (worn and unwashed), together
with
len-chag (a type of mold used for rubbing onto unwell
body areas) into a receptacle called ‘Düe’.

Longchen Nyingthig Mahakala Puja
Puja held on 18 & 20 November 2005
Mahakala, a protector of the
Buddhist teachings, is also known as the chief dharmapala.
Dharmapalas are basically Buddhas who undertake the role of
removing obstacles on the path of practitioners.
The objective of Mahakala is
to assist practitioners in removing anything that impedes
their practice, as well as to encourage exertion and
devotion and at the same time purify obscurations and
wrongdoings. Blessings will be bestowed and obstacles will
be removed if one prays earnestly to Mahakala.

Prayers at the 18th Nyingma Monlam Chenmo at Bodhgaya, India
Held from 19th to 28th January 2007
The Annual
Nyingma Monlam Chenmo, which is also known as the Great
Prayer Assemble, praying for World Peace, is a yearly
prayers attended by over 7000 sanghas members from different
nyingmapa monasteries in India, Bhutan, Nepal & other
countries.
By the grace
of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche, the President of Nyingma
Monlam Chenmo Int'l Foundation, Palyul Nyingma Buddhist
Association will was proud to undertook the responsibility

Guru Rinpoche Birth
Anniversary & Seven Lines Prayer to Guru Rinpoche
Accumulation's Dedication Prayer
Held on 24th July 2007
The tenth day of the sixth
Tibetan month is the anniversary of Guru
Padmasambhava‘s birth from a lotus at Dhanakhosha Lake
amid wondrous signs. Also known as Guru Rinpoche and the
second Buddha, he was the emanation of Buddha Amitabha, and
whose coming was prophesised by Lord Buddha in the Sutras
and Tantras.
In conjunction with this
auspicious day, our centre has also conducted the
accumulation of Seven Lines Prayer to Guru Rinpoche from
17/06/07 to 24/07/07. A dedication prayer & blessing
ceremony was held on the evening of 24/07/2007 for
participants who have indicated their dedication on the
accumulation of the Seven Lines Prayer. |
