Consecrated by:
Khenpo Wangchuk Sonam Rinpoche & Khenpo Jurme Kunzang Rinpoche
from 3rd September 2006 to 6th September 2006
& blessed on 7th September 2006

His Holiness Drubwang Pema Norbu has blessed all fortune vases
during the puja from 30th November 2006 to 3rd December 2006.

Amongst the many treasure vases, the Fortune Vase is one of the best sources of acquiring and multiplying material prosperity, particularly, and will lead to spiritual prosperity gradually. The vase contains essential substances as follows: Mandalas of five elements - earth, water, space, fire, wind & fire. The fortune mandala, the eight auspicious symbols, the pictorial mandala of twenty-one black Zambalas and the mandalas of other lords of wealth such as Vaisravanna and Ganapati etc. along with their consorts and their mantras inscribed respectively in the centre of the mandala. The mandalas are then surrounded by substances of five medicines, five grains, five perfumes, five gems and, in particular, a condensed pill prepared from twenty three "fortune substances" given by His Holiness Penor Rinpoche from his fortune container. Besides, pills prepared from a variety of earth and water collected from the holy sites and the condensed pills of more than three hundred samaya substances are also inserted in the wealth vase.

The Vases were prepared by Venerable Khenpo Jurme Kunzang Tenzin Rinpoche, the resident spiritual advisor of our association, with the kind assistance of the lamas, under the guidance of Khenpo Wangchuk Sonam Rinpoche, one of the prominent disciples of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche and also one of the most revered and distinguished senior abbots and professors of Namdroling monastery. Khenpo Rinpoche is highly skilful in the vase making techniques and has been responsible for the vase preparations of Namdroling monastery.

The benefits of the "Fortune Vases" are as mentioned below:

As it is a "fortune vase", that gathers all the material and spiritual fortunes of prosperity, the holder of the vase will have immense benefits; mundane fortunes such as success in business, promotions, fame, dignity, good health, living a longer life and other wealth of all hues will be in one's favor. Spiritual fortunes such as happiness, faith and devotion, right views and conducts and divine wisdom and so forth will sprout up and thereby multiply. As a result of all these outcomes, one will be able to wipe off almost all the negativities namely natural disasters caused by the four elements, all the ill-health woes, wars and famine etc. In brief, all kinds of material and spiritual poverties and disadvantages will be pacified which one may encounter otherwise in our chain of lives that one may have to live.

Therefore, owing to its special and uncommon contents and benefits, and being blessed by His Holiness, the "Fortune vase'' by its structures and features, will be one of the most rare and precious valuables for the possessor.
